Just FYI, the step adjustment is not step calories, so you can't really do what you want unless you want no calories coming from garmin at all. MFP says '300 calories gained' due to steps. MFP thinks all those extra 2500 - (2000 + 200) = 300 calories came entirely from steps. Garmin tells MFP: 'You're wrong, user burnt 2500 calories' MFP sees you did 200 calories of exercise on garmin, so totals that and predicts a burn of (2000 + 200) = 2200 calories.
